In 2017 the Evidence-based manifesto for better healthcare was launched to address problems around bias, wastage and error in research informing patient care. This introductory session will look at this manifesto and begin to question on whether it can be adapted for veterinary use.

Is there a need for a veterinary evidence manifesto? And if so how best to do it? Look at the differences between human and veterinary medicine, what are the different challenges and what would be the aim for a manifesto.
