Dr. Peter J Gill is a paediatric resident at the Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada. He completed a DPhil in Primary Health Care and MSc in Evidence-Based Health Care at the University of Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship (2009-13).
Peter’s research interests include paediatrics and primary care, particularly clinical epidemiology and health services research. His doctoral thesis focused on developing evidence-based indicators to measure the quality of care provided for children in general practice. He has over 30 peer-reviewed publications, including articles the Lancet, BMJ and CMAJ, and actively reviews for several journals.
Peter  co-founded the paediatric medical education website PedsCases (www.pedscases.com) which recently launched a new website. A social media enthusiast, Peter has an active Twitter account.
