I have been involved in clinical academic primary care for over 10 years. Upon completion of my medical training, I obtained back to back clinical academic training programmes/fellowships including an academic foundation programme in primary care, NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship and NIHR Clinical Lecturer awards in General Practice. I am currently the Deputy Director of the Centre for Evidence Based Medicine and remain a practising GP in East Oxford.
