  • Lead Coordinator, Qualitative Research Methods (MSc in Evidence Based Health Care)
  • Co-lead coordinator for Advanced Qualitative Research Methods (MSc in Evidence Based Health Care)
  • Fellow, Kellogg College

I currently hold a fellowship funded by the NIHR Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) Oxford, to explore the use of online patient feedback in influencing UK Health Policy, and service delivery and improvement.
I am Principal Investigator on a CLAHRC funded project looking at online reviews and ratings in primary care.
My previous research has included several in-depth qualitative explorations of aspects of participation in medical research, including Patient and Public Involvement from contributors’ and researchers’ perspectives; donations to the biobank; and undergoing heart valve screening. I have also conducted research on experiences of life-changing injuries, family perspectives on autism, and how patients and doctors share decisions.
