Kate Mandeville – London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

Kate Mandeville is a public health physician and a honorary assistant professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She is currently a public health specialist at the World Bank, working on health system issues across Europe and Central Asia. Before the World Bank, she was a lecturer at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and public health advisor at the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). She has previously worked at the science-media interface as a British Science Association Media Fellow and as a trainer for journalists at the Royal Statistical Society. Her research interests include how to apply economic evaluation principles to the health workforce, aging, and conflicts of interest.
